Lakehouse Music Academy Student Record Label MOTO Presents October Man

The two campuses of the Lakehouse Music Academy—in Asbury Park and Red Bank—teach performance, composition, recording, engineering, production, theory and marketing to aspiring musicians from age three onward. Its graduates have gone on to Berklee and Rutgers after taking courses that feature group rehearsals, individual lessons personally tailored to each musician’s talents and, ultimately the big test:  live shows at major venues. Its progressive multi-genre approach has resulted in the formation of its own label, MOTO Records.

The Asbury Park band October Man is one of its success stories. After eight years together, All The Parties I Drove You To is their debut EP. Singer-Guitarist JD Leidersdorff, Lead Guitarist Ethan Bodner, Drummer Anthony Abboud and Bassist Ian Neill practically came out of the womb playing rock’n’roll. Now its time for them to share their artistic vision with the world. They were originally known as Spanish Pigeon Cheese, then Gang$ta $auce. They met in kindergarten.
