Asbury Juke Lead Guitarist Glenn Alexander’s Ninth Annual Pig Gig Benefit Is Sunday

How about six hours of good food, drink and music from the lead guitarist of Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes, Glenn Alexander, and all for a good cause? The Italian American Hall in Scotch Plains will rock this Sunday, November 10 for six solid hours:  from 2:00 in the afternoon to 8:00 at night. Alexander will perform with his Shadowland band as well as duet with his daughter, vocalist Oria Aspen. Richie “La Bamba” Rosenberg, The Lonesome Pines and the duo of Anthony Tamburro and Louis Bevere will also play.

The $70 admission includes all the roast pig, pulled pork, sausage’n’peppers, wings, hot dogs and side dishes you can eat and all the beer, wine, water and soda you can drink. Proceeds will benefit the Fibrolamellar Cancer Foundation in the name of Jay Alexander, Glenn’s cousin who died from the disease in 2011.
