Meet… Polaroid Fade
Deep in Cumberland County, in a sleepy little hamlet called Vineland, Polaroid Fade practiced hard. But can you really write a love song to a town? What about to a particular street? Or even your house? Plus, don’t forget, oftentimes, the sound of silence permeates a beach town in the winter. “Delancey” is Polaroid Fade’s mighty impressive new song, the first tune released by the new Shore Points Records in Asbury Park. Its lush infectious hook is buoyed by the hard-charge of its tempo and the stratospheric dreamscape of guitar arrangements. It’s off their Chaos Into Poetry debut, due this fall..
It's been less than two years in existence for Polaroid Fade. But singer-songwriter Nicoletta, guitarist Tyler, bassist Grace and drummer RJ have all earned their chops in the multiple genres of previous bands, be it punk, metal, new-wave and/or alt-rock. Somehow, those strains will be evident when their Chaos Into Poetry debut lands this fall. Their 2022 debut-single “Any Other Way” gained them a flurry of fans. Follow-up singles “Bliss,” “Worry About Me Later” and “Fischer Garden” widened their appeal and readied them for the road.
