Mark Knopfler’s charity single “Going Home (Theme From Local Hero)” features 60 rock stars in support of https://teencanceramerica.org/ and England’s Teen Cancer Trust. It is one of the most overpowering lineups of major stars ever assembled for one cause with members of The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Dire Straits, The Who, Pink Floyd, Queen, Black Sabbath, Rush, Guns N’Roses, Eagles and many more. Sadly, it would prove to be Jeff Beck’s final recorded work. Other guitarists who participate include Ry Cooder, Sheryl Crow, Peter Frampton, Vince Gill, Buddy Guy, Tom Morello, Brad Paisley, Nile Rodgers, Mike Rutherford, Susan Tedeschi, Derek Trucks, Keith Urban and Jersey icons Joe Walsh (Montclair) and Bruce (Rumson).

From The Teen Cancer America press release: “Roger Daltrey, Teenage Cancer Trust’s Honorary Patron and co-founder of Teen Cancer America (with Pete Townshend), added harmonica, and Ringo Starr is on drums, alongside his son, Zak Starkey. Their two drum tracks switch from one to the other, revealing an unmistakable family style. Sting completes an extraordinary rhythm section on bass.”
