Jane’s Addiction, ever since its 1985 birth, has been the go-to alt.rock band of our times. Singer Perry Farrell, guitarist Dave Navarro, drummer Stephen Perkins and bassist Eric Avery are revving it up again. They started Wednesday in Arkansas and will hit Oklahoma, Louisiana, Florida, North Carolina and Virginia before its AC gig at the Hard Rock on September 7. They launched Lollapalooza in ’91, and, lately, took 14 years off. In fact, it’s been 34 years since this original lineup performed together. And with Love And Rockets opening, this promises to be quite the evening.
