Two masters on their respective instruments—violinist Damien Escobar and saxophonist Kim Waters—will perform October 25 at the Union County Performing Arts Center on Irving Street in Rahway. Esocobar is the Emmy Award-winning entrepreneur philanthropist humanitarian from New York City who started performing in the subway system for chump change. He traverses a wide terrain: classical, pop, jazz, rhythm’n’blues and hip-hop. Waters was named “simply one of the planet’s best saxophonists” by Jazz Times magazine.
