The hallowed hall known as The Stanhope House, built in 1794, became a cultural mecca in the 1970s when Muddy Waters, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Willie Dixon, Paul Butterfield, Dr. John, Lonnie Mack, John Lee Hooker, Buddy Guy, Albert King, Richie Havens and Albert Collins ruled the roost. The latest blues phenomenon, Bees Deluxe, out of Boston, will take over June 20 (with Peter Veteska & Blues Train opening). The following night they will perform at The Lizzie Rose Music Room in Tuckerton, Ocean County, with the Daniel Keiser Band opening.
