Rhode Island’s Badfish—bassist Joel Hanks, drummer Scott Begin, vocalist-guitarist Pat Downes, multi-instrumentalist Danny Torgersen (on horns, keyboards and guitar)—will rock the shore August 30 at The Sandbox on Seastreak Beach. For 22 years, this Sublime tribute band has been making people move and groove yet lately, they’ve been writing their own material. And it’s soulful, funky, rockin’ and actually transcends the limited purview of their original mission statement.
